What is a Close Position?

 

Close Position refers to closing the contract of an asset within a specified period. In other words, it is buying or selling the contract of that asset back to the broker and realizing the profit or loss from the value change in that position.

 

IUX Invest offers you 4 options for closing positions:

1. Partial Close

Partial Close means closing only a portion of the position by closing some of the amounts and units, allowing the remaining amounts and units to continue.

 

 

2. Close by Setting Stop Loss 

Close by Setting Stop Loss is all about protecting yourself. If things don’t go as planned and the price hits your Stop Loss level, the system automatically closes your position to limit any losses. 

 

With IUX Invest, you can set Stop Loss at 25%, 50%, or up to 100% of your investment, making it easy when opening positions for the first time. And don’t worry—you can always tweak it later.

 

The advantage of close by setting stop loss:

  • It saves you from constantly watching price movements.

3. Close by Setting Take Profit

Close by Setting Take Profit involves setting a take profit point in advance. If the investment goes as expected and the price reaches the take profit level, the system will automatically close the position at that point.

for convenience when opening positions for the first time. However, you can adjust the take-profit
level later if needed.

4. Cancel Order

Cancel Order means canceling a buy or sell order or closing a position in a manner related to market  hours when the market is closed. This applies to assets that are not traded 24/7, such as stocks.
